Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Casewave service — agents and portal users — and is incorporated into the Agent Terms of Service and the Client Portal Terms.

When you use the service, you agree that you will not:

1. Use Casey or the service to make consequential decisions. You may not use Casey or the service to make, or as a substantial factor in making, decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning a consumer — including decisions about insurance eligibility, coverage, claims outcomes, or pricing. Casey provides information and assistance with servicing paperwork; it does not decide outcomes, and it may not be used to.

2. Enter prohibited data into free-text fields. Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank account or routing numbers, government ID numbers, or health information into chat, notes, or any other free-text field. Forms that legitimately need such information collect it directly in DocuSign, the e-signature system of record.

3. Break the law. No use of the service that violates any applicable law or regulation, or that infringes anyone's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.

4. Misrepresent. No impersonating any person, misrepresenting your licensure or authority, or submitting information you know to be false.

5. Interfere or intrude. No probing, scanning, or testing the security of the service without our prior written authorization; no interfering with its operation; no attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours.

6. Scrape or automate without permission. No scraping, bulk extraction, or automated access to the service except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.

7. Upload malicious code. No viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

8. Misuse access. Agents: no using the service for individuals you do not actually service, and no reselling, sharing, or transferring access to the service.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy, as described in the applicable terms. Report suspected violations or security issues to legal@casewave.life.
